I’ve been a fan of R.S. Grey for a while. I’ve binge read all of her books on KU when I realized they were there. She is the QUEEN of sweet, sexy, rom-com novels. So when I saw she was in New Orleans doing research for a novel I got extremely excited. EXTREMELY EXCITED Y’ALL. And I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of The Beau and The Belle and I LOVED it. I’m super pumped to be sharing the release with you today!

Beau Fortier starred in most of my cringe-worthy teenage fantasies.

When I got this arc in my email I was so excited to read it. I may or may not have pushed aside all of my school required reading to start it…
TB&TB follows Beau and Lauren- from their first meeting when she was a high school girl with a crush and then again 10 years later.
Now, Grey often has me giggling when reading her books, but I was outright snorting in TB&TB. Lauren had me cracking up at her odd moments. She was a hilariously relatable character. And I absolutely loved her mom- they reminded me of a couple of aunts I have. What I loved about Lauren is was even though she was shy, she had this unexpected confidence about her. I loved her as a teenager, and I adored her as an adult.
Now for Beau. Oh, Beau. I love Beau in every shape and age he came in. He was a sweet, Southern mama’s boy with a whole lot of hot, confident man. I loved how he was with Lauren, especially when he decides to go after what he wants- her.
I loved Beau and Lauren’s dynamic. I loved everything about this story, to be honest. Grey is still the queen of hilarious romances for me. The Beau & The Belle had me enjoying every minute of the story, and now I can’t wait for Mardi Gras – Lord knows I have a weakness for King Cake like Lauren does.
