Hi y’all! I’m excited to do Fangirl Friday this week with my shiny new domain name goooooddddbye dreamingofalba.wordpress.com and hellooooooo dreamingofalba.com! Anyway, this week the Fangirl Friday is Upcoming Spring/Summer Release!

So the two upcoming releases that I am the most excited about are Sarah J Maas’s A Court of Mist and Fury and Renee Ahdieh’s The Rose and The Dagger.

First up:

The Rose and The Dagger by Renee Ahdieh releasing 4/26/16.

The sequel to The Wrath and the Dawn, TRATD brings us back to the world of Shahzrad and Khalid. When I first read TWATD I was so captivated by Renee Ahdieh’s writing. I was constantly turning the page because I just couldn’t get enough.  She keeps you hanging on because there’s something captivating about Khalid even though he’s been a monster. And Shahzrad? That woman is fearless. I am entirely too excited for the release of The Rose and The Dagger. I can’t wait to see more from Shahzrad and Khalid, and from Ahdieh in general.

I am surrounded on all sides by a desert. A guest, in a prison of sand and sun. My family is here. And I do not know whom I can trust.

Next up:

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas,  releasing 5/3/16.

Now, this one shouldn’t be surprising but it is my most anticipated spring/summer release.  I regularly take to twitter to express my fears for A Court of Mist and Fury and the impending love triangle I’m sensing. I hate love triangles. They’re messy and painful, and pretty much alway suck – but that being said I am a massive sucker for SJMaas’s love triangles. I can’t help but get drawn into them.  I will read ACOMAF and love every minute of it because I’m a masochist, apparently. I’m excited for Feyre to go more into the Fae realm aside from just the Spring Court and Under the Mountain though. *But always go back to Spring Court and baby Tam* cough cough. I am ridiculously excited for it, but I’m equal parts worried to. Ugh, bring it on SJMaas.

No one was my master—but I might be master of everything if I wished. If I dared.
